CHALLENGE & APPROACH

Problem
Conference rooms need camera, audio, microphones, I/O, mounting, and cloud conferencing support in one device. The challenge was to make this complex system feel simple, approachable, and visually integrated into the meeting space.

Constraints
The design had to balance camera placement, speaker and microphone layout, I/O access, mounting structure, internal hardware, CMF, and room-facing appearance.

Design Focus
Final direction used horizontal capsule form, soft rear shell, black cloth faceplate, and lifted upper line to organize the product into an all-in-one video bar. The design reduced visual clutter while keeping the main video, audio, and installation features easy to understand.

A horizontal capsule form defines the design language, integrating the camera, speakers, microphones, and status lighting into front face.

Rear View
Rear shell organizes the mounting structure, I/O ports, and speaker housings. With rounded silhouette, subtle texture, and recessed layout.

Speaker Housing (Integrated into both ends of body.)

Mounting (Wall, display, room setup installation.)

Ventilation (Support airflow and exhaust.)

Side View
Shows the layered silhouette, built from the camera, front mesh, rear shell, and I/O ports.

Lifted Upper Line
The raised upper surface creates the room for status lighting and gives visual break between the front mesh and rear housing.

Rear Shell
Soft white and speckled sand finish, contrasting with the black front mesh.

I/O Ports
HDMI, USB-C, Microphone, USB-A, RJ45, power port for meeting setup.
